Easter Afternoon Tea
Easter arrives on The Maid of Somerset in the form of a seasonal menu featuring the likes of chalkstream trout pâté, rhubarb custard millefeuille and special Easter treats, alongside scones with clotted cream and a selection of fine tea. Served from Friday through to Sunday, for all of April.

Quintessentially British
Settle into one of two saloons transporting you to the golden age of railway travel and indulge in a first class afternoon tea inspired by the flavours of The Newt.
Head of Food, Gelf Alderson has conjured a cheering menu of sublime sandwiches, scones and home-made sweet treats, celebrating ingredients grown, foraged and produced on our estate, offering a uniquely Somerset afternoon tea experience.
Afternoon tea for two (or more!) is served on Titanic crockery designed by Royal Crown Derby, who supplied the exquisite fine bone china dinner service to the first-class dining suite of the fated ship. Take in neo-classical decor from elegant lighting to fine marquetry and enjoy picturesque garden views while sipping on your choice of traditional loose-leaf tea, or sparkling Sprankel.
Afternoon Tea aboard The Maid of Somerset was designed as an adult-only experience, however should you wish to share it with children, we are happy to accommodate children ages 3+, please contact The Creamery team to arrange this.
